Bristol's fortune again took turn with appointment of Isambad Kingdom Brunnel as new chief engineer of Bristol Docks who not only linked Bristol to London by a railway line but also gave Bristol many proud engineering landmarks like Clifton Suspension Bridge etc. However since 20th century Bristol is better known also for its aerospace Industry where in mid 1960's Concorde was built and tested at Filton. Modern Bristol is more popular for its business relocation character and focus on Media and new technologies.
Bristol attracts visitors as a beaytiful water front city and is well known as a door to art, science and Nature. To commute in the city one can avail two types of Taxi services (Taxi Hire Bristol, Private Hire Bristol) usual Hackney cabs similar to the ones in London type Cabs or ordinary car Taxi with a sign or light on top.
